Join us for an information session to learn more about DC Start, an immersive first-semester program in Washington, D.C., exclusively for 40-45 incoming public policy and health policy majors in the Cornell Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy.

• Start your major with hands-on learning through a public policy course that builds connections and knowledge from day one.
• Take first-year requirements like Introductory Microeconomics, a first-year writing seminar, introductory policy courses and a course designed to immerse you in learning the foundations of public policy in D.C.
• Bond with a close-knit group of peers as you explore D.C., attend Capitol Hill events and visit historical sites—all while staying on track with your major.
